Top Places in San Diego to Paddle BoardSince, I wasn't sure at first where to find great places in San Diego to paddle board I gather some resources that I collected on Diigo and it has been rewarding to find places such as La Jolla Cove, Coronado Island (Tidelands Park), and Mission Bay (Bahia Hotel Santa Barbara Cove) to have one of the greatest site scenes while paddle boarding. I know that once I am done with student teaching and have more time to myself I will definitely be paying a visit to these places. |
1. La Jolla Cove- from looking at pictures this place looks amazing to be able to paddle board. I have become intrigued in getting to learn the sport of paddle boarding since it is relaxing and this place makes me want to learn even more. There is cliffs and caves along the shorelines with an amazing view beneath the water. | 2. Coronado Island (Tidelands Park)- this place is great because you get to see ferrys passing along and people tend to greet those that are paddle boarding. When paddle boarding people may get to see stingrays and halibuts when lucky. When paddle boarding, people get to go see the bridge, San Diego's skyline and military ships. This island is one of San Diego's best kept secret. |
3. Mission Bay (Bahia Hotel Santa Barbara Cove)- this place is located by the San Diego Airport. According to this article, "One of my favorite coves is the Santa Barbara cove just because it's easy to access with parking right across the road. The cove is protected on 3 sides so it's usually very calm even on windy days especially near the shoreline. And it's just across from the famous Wavehouse (artificial standing wave) along with its amusement parks and roller coaster." | |
